Five of the IPC teaching units are located in the city of Coimbra,
two on the right side of Mondego River (ESEC – Solum and ISEC – Quinta da Nora) and three on the left side (ESAC and ISCAC – Bencanta, ESTeSC – S Martinho do Bispo).
ESTGOH is located in the city of Oliveira do Hospital (Center), All of them have quality infrastructures in order to guarantee good study and research conditions, namely libraries and laboratories, and free access to internet.
Regarding accommodation, the IPC Social Services provide two student residences in Bencanta, as well as a set of four residences in Quinta da Nora. Concerning to food, IPC Social Services currently have five canteens and bars in every IPC teaching units, whose opening hours follow the period of school activities.
IPC also has two research units: applied Research Institute (IIA) and Natural Resources, Environment and Society Study Center (CERNAS), located in Bencanta.
Coimbra, district capital, is located in the centre of Portugal, 116 Km from Porto and 207 Km from Lisbon. Crossed by the River Mondego, is located between mountain ranges and the sea, adjacent to the districts of Aveiro, Viseu, Guarda, Castelo Branco and Leiria. Near the North motorway (A1 Porto – Lisbon), the North railway line and connected with the interior by IP3.
